Avana Cypress Creek Apartments in North Lauderdale, Florida

I have been residing at Avana since last August 2017to current with no intentions to renew, and have been the target of discrimination unwanted attacks on myself and family. The current staff and property manager have been anything but professional and I’m sure company policy states opposite. Due to the nature of this email I would advise that this ill equip manager be fired for violating fair housing laws. I received a correspondence for failure to pay utilities as I pay my rent on time since commencement of the lease contract my wife whom is sickly and has been under emotional distress due to the property manager/staff ill and cruel treatment. She has a serious heart condition and comes to the states often to seek medical treatment as we know here in the US the health care system is better suited for my wife’s needs. Moving forward we have received waters bills in the amount of $600+ with out proper explanation as to why the water/sewer is inflated. Upon request after request for a logically detail and break down of the total charges billed has been difficult and a battle in itself not to mention being policed and accused of smoking pot with no merit or proof just hearsay and speculation not built on solid evidence or facts. As the police officer stated if we are in our dwelling conducting ourselves in accordance with your community rules and regulation that we not be the subject of harassment. It states in the lease that I should be able to live in the comfort of my dwelling and not be disturbed if I’m paying my rent on time. The property manager Noel and regional manager Pricilla are racist and will only deal with Spanish residents in a highly respected way and offer them the best service possible any race outside that scope is subjected to being yelled at lied to and told “we are getting rid of any resident that came under the previous manager and staff members” this is a huge liability. I work extremely hard as a sales manager for a startup company put myself through college to give my self a better life and decided to live at Avana due to location and minutes to the turnpike I could haven chosen a better location as the property is now run down with a lot of questionable people moving under the new manager but I chose Avana due to the friendly environment and beauty of the complex at the time. Since Noel has motioned into his position it has been a nightmare. Their are plenty of tenants that share the same sentiment as myself and will be contacting corporate and attorneys as we will not be the subject of harassment or discrimination as outlined in the lease contract. I have spoken to the regional whom continues to scream at me with force and hang up the phone when logic presents itself she is paid a hefty salary to remedy or investigate matters that arise she falls short I have contacted Gary crane as well as executive management and again Greystar as failed to respond. I’ve exhausted all resources and will further escalate this matter as I will not be taken advantaged of. The entire water sewer rollout is questionable as I have contacted the city for a detailed explanation and have all communication with them recorded and in writing. I have contacted real page and nothing adds up the matrix is insufficient. There are staff members in the office stating the water/sewer billed to the property was not covering the cost effectively and was a large expense of the owners and needed to be billed back to the tenants in which is illegal and corrupt to say the least, also placing blame on the previous manager and staff members whom are no longer there I find offensive as a resident to go into an office and have staff members put down previous staff is poor judgment, tasteless and disruptive. They all need to be fired as they are all incompete
