South Florida's commuter rail services, transit systems and big international airports continued operating on Wednesday, although the Brightline high-speed train line cut four trains from its schedule and dropped its onboard food and beverage service for the day.Commercial airlines were still flying in and out of the tri-county region's three major airports, although most airports along the Gulf Coast and in Central Florida are closed.'Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport remains open and operational today,' said Broward County Mayor Michael Udine at a morning news briefing.
