Democratic candidates running to represent Congressional Districts 20 and 23 had easy victories over their Republican opponents.Jared Moskowitz, a Democratic candidate for Congress, won the election for the 23rd Congressional District, while Democratic candidate Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, won the seat for the 20th Congressional District.Both were the likely favorites to win the general election Tuesday night, as both districts lean primarily Democrat.Moskowitz, 41, a well-known candidate, defeated Republican opponent Joe Budd, and two other non-party /independent candidates: Mark Napier and Christine Scott.
