LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. – While the impact from Hurricane Nicole is expected to cause much issues for areas further north, one South Florida area saw someHurricane Nicole made landfall on Florida's east coast in the early morning hours on Thursday.While the most extensive damage is expected to come further north up the coast, one area of South Florida experienced an apparent major break.Lauderdale-by-the-Sea's pier, Anglin's Fishing Pier, was apparently damaged by the wind, rain and waves created by Hurricane Nicole.
