A 57-year-old man died after crashing into a barrier wall while driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale, the Florida Highway Patrol says. The accident occurred early Saturday morning just before 2:50 a.m. about a quarter of a mile north of Sunrise Boulevard on southbound I-95. The man, who remains unidentified, was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan north on the inside paved travel lane when he veered to the right into a closed-off construction area and crashed head-on with the end of a concrete traffic barrier wall, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
